This decaf Costa Rican is decaffeinated using the traditional Methylene Chloride process. Costa Rica is one of the world's best coffee growing regions, due to its volcanic soil and ideal drainage. Costa Rican coffees are more acidic then some, with excellent chocolate flavor notes and fruity undertones. We roast this bean to the City Roast level (medium light) to bring out the complex origin flavors of this great coffee bean.
