Tarrazu coffee originates in the rich volcanic soils of Costa Rica's Tarrazu region.
The choice Arabica cherries in Tarrazu coffee are grown in the volcanic soils of Costa Rica's high mountain central valley, at 4,000 to 7,000 above sea level, and when ripe are hand picked and sun dried. Our Tarrazu coffee features hints of cocoa and grapefruit with an aroma of aged wood and dark chocolate. We roast this bean to the City Roast level (medium light) to bring out the complex origin flavors of this great coffee bean.
Our Single Origin Beans are just that, beans from a specific origin roasted just right to bring out the unique taste that is known for that particular origin bean.
